Battles to win for the queen

Hard work is not easy,
but is the only way to insure your success.
You can hope to get what you want
by luck, chance, or destiny.
But that is not the way to live life,
for you should deserve what you desire.

When you have strength in your muscles,
light in your eyes, and sanity in your thoughts,
why do you seek help from an invisible force,
call it God if you may.
What you have today is the gift of life
why do you ask for more?
Kneeling is not a posture for the warrior
Arise, and go get your shield and sword
the ask of the time is to fight, not to beg.
When you know what you want,
can’t you go find the path yourself?

Get over that flirtatious little bitch that is lady luck,
she is not going to stay with you for long.
Winning is to be earned,
those aching muscles and bruised elbows,
sleepy eyes, and sweating limbs
are just a paltry sum to pay for it.

Queen victory loves the brave
you have tough battles to win,
and bloody wars to wage,
before her smile reaches you,
and she catches you with joy and pride offering her hand.

O Child of this universe,
when you took those first steps,
did you stop walking for the fear of falling?
now when you are an adult, why are you scared of the unknown?
How does it matter if you fail?
triumph you will,
when you keep trying.

If your heart says you need to cross the ocean,
you wouldn’t fear swimming across, if you have the determination.
